Le GR10 est la grande traversée des Pyrénées françaises, de l'océan Atlantique (Hendaye) à la mer Méditerranée (Banyuls-sur-Mer), sur près de 900 km. Entièrement côté français, il enchaîne cols, vallées et villages de montagne pour un dénivelé positif cumulé considérable (près de 67 000 m), au plus près des sommets pyrénéens.
