Tronçon nord de la Via di Francesco, le chemin de saint François, de La Verna à Assise. Huit étapes à travers l'Apennin toscan puis l'Ombrie : Pieve Santo Stefano, Sansepolcro, Citerna, Città di Castello, Pietralunga, Gubbio et Valfabbrica, avant la descente sur la basilique d'Assise. Une variante de 54 km rejoint Assise par Pérouse. Relief soutenu, avec 5 800 m de montée cumulée entre 251 et 1 250 m d'altitude. Environ 189 km.
